Marvin Hurd II

MARVIN ELBERT HURD II, 46 years of age of Mt. Lookout, went to his Heavenly home Wednesday April 3, 2024 from injuries received in an automobile accident at Summersville on March 28th . He was born in Lake County, Indiana November 16, 1977 and moved to Craigsville at the age of fifteen, to live with his grandmother Ruby Zeimba, whom he adored. Marvin was a composer for Columbia Forest Products at Craigsville and a graduate of Richwood High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Craigsville and demonstrated his public profession of faith through baptism on September 10,2000. Marvin’s favorite activity was spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind his wife of twenty two years Michelle Renee Freeman and was a proud father to his seven year old daughter Mia Grace Freeman. Also surviving; Uncle Clint Hurd, God Mother Joyce Flanagan, God Father Terry Clark, Amber Groves and Denver Jason Flanagan, whom he considered his sister and brother. Eighteen nieces and nephews and many close friends who were very dear to his heart.
