Let the memory of Nancy be with us forever.
Nancy Dianne Allen, age 87, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2026.
Nancy was born on September 12, 1938, in Temple City, California. From the very beginning, she lived her life with intention, strength, and a deep-rooted faith that guided her every step. She was a woman of remarkable character—steadfast, thoughtful, and committed to doing things the right way.
Above all else, Nancy’s heart shone brightest in her role as a grandmother. Her love for Billy and Malekai was deep, steady, and unconditional. She delighted in their lives, supported them faithfully, and poured wisdom into them with both tenderness and truth. Her influence will live on in the values she instilled and the memories they will carry forward.
Her love only grew stronger as her family expanded. When she became a great-grandmother, she truly flourished—overflowing with pride, tenderness, and joy. Watching the next generation grow brought her immense happiness and purpose
She was a dedicated accountant by profession, known for her sharp mind, strong work ethic, and unwavering sense of responsibility. Beyond her career, she was a woman grounded in faith—one who leaned on God through every season of life and quietly modeled grace, perseverance, and integrity to all who knew her.
She had a deep passion for reading, always eager to learn, explore, and experience the world beyond her own walls. Stories, books, and journeys brought her joy and kept her spirit curious and alive.
Nancy’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She trusted fully in God’s promises and lived with the assurance of eternal life through Christ. As Scripture reminds us:
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23i
And:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Nancy will be remembered as a woman ahead of her time—independent, accomplished, and unwavering in her convictions. She took pride in her intellect and never missed an opportunity to lovingly correct grammar or word choice, not out of criticism, but from a sincere desire to help others grow and learn. Teaching, guiding, and improving those around her was simply part of who she was.
She was preceded in death by her mother Essie Cornelius and Father William “Boppy” Cornelius. Survivors include grandsons William Allen and Malekai Allen. Brother Micheal Cornelius and her great grandchildren Kalleb, Maverick, Kellin, Laine and Abby.
