Lived in Port Huron, Michigan

Let the memory of Nathan be with us forever.

Note: For anyone visiting Nathan and visiting this page - please keep in mind it's a work in progress and will most likely be changed & updated from time to time. But, more importantly.. thank you for visiting him and keeping his memory alive. 💙

Nathan was a bright star in a dark sky. He could light up anywhere with his big smile and contagious laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always wanted to make people happy. If you were ever hugged by him, you could feel the love in his tight embrace.

Don't get me wrong, Nathan was human like all of us. He had his inner demons that he wrestled with. He made mistakes and he had regrets. But, with that being said, Nathan deserved so much more than this world gave him. He deserved more love, more kindness, more happy moments. He deserved more sunrises and sunsets. He deserved more time with the people he loved. He deserved more...

As a little boy, he was smart and so cute. Little, blonde headed skinny guy with a huge grin. Mischievous! And always full of humor. Him and his big brother, Kyle, were always up to something! 😁

As a teenager, Nathan was happy, kind, and funny, but he began struggling with his mental health. He began having highs and lows. He gave his Mom a lot of heart ache, but he was worth every second of it.

He was always an incredible son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

Some of his interests were speed cubes, chess, music, writing, and drawing. He was creative throughout his life.

In his early 20's he became a Daddy to Ivan Alexander, and his love for that little boy was glowingly obvious. He moved to Tennessee to be with him. However, his relationship with Ivan's Mom didn't work out and he became estranged from his son causing him more heartbreak and increasing his bouts of depression.

Nathan eventually moved back to Michigan and began a relationship with Angelica who he had been friends with since high school. He became a stepdad to her children Kaiser and Ella, and then they were blessed with beautiful twin boys, Soren and Silas. Nathan adored his twins. He spent 3 years being their Daddy full-time. He refused to be separated from his boys. And the boys loved their Daddy so much!

Nathan was so full of life and had so much life left to live. It's so painful knowing he doesn't get that opportunity.

Only God knows for sure the reasons why Nathan's time with us was cut so short, but all of us that knew and loved him will carry him in our hearts until our last breaths.

In Nathan's memory, please always be kind. Remember everyone is fighting silent battles you don't know about. Mental health and depression are real.. know that you matter, and reach out to someone if you need help. Please don't let your story end too soon like Nathan's did.

Our hearts are forever shattered. Rest in heavenly love Nathan. 💜🩵
