Let the memory of Oliver be with us forever.
I am not sure how to capture the essence of Oliver; words can't begin to describe how special and precious, funny and unique he was. He had boundless curiosity and energy, fearful of nothing he was a daredevil who did before he thought. Loved being a big brother; from the time his siblings were born, he wanted to be a part of everything they did - his favorite playmates as a child they continued to be his top priority as an adult. Oliver, was such a loving son, always making sure that I was ok; taking the time to go on hikes, long talks and always up for an adventure. He brought joy and laughter to our house with his playful antics and boundless creativity. His sense of humor was ever-present, made-up recipes that filled the family recipe box and the pranks he enjoyed playing—on family members and pets.
Many who knew Oliver thought him an old soul, able to think deeply and embrace moments of quiet reflection. Yet, to us he was a young soul—full of warmth, joyful discovery and a deep vulnerability.
Creativity ran through everything Oliver did. He expressed himself through his paintings, sketches, writing, and even inventing new recipes. His unique perspective permeated his life; he once shared that he saw and dreamed in numbers, a testament to his intelligence and distinctive way of experiencing the world.
We loved being together as a family, nightly dinners was a priority, plenty of game nights - although the running joke was we could never finish a game because of Olivers limited attention span, and as Oliver and his siblings grew older, we made traveling/exploring a big part of our time together. We have so many precious memories of Oliver and are so thankful that we are such a close family and continued to stay close and connected as he and his siblings grew to adulthood.
Oliver, you will forever live on in our hearts and dreams. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us. We love you my beautiful boy. I can't wait to see you in heaven.
