Obituary
Peggy Sizemore, born on November 8, 1950, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 75. A proud Sizemore through and through, Peggy was a woman who knew exactly who she was and made no apologies for it. Stubborn and set in her ways, she carried herself with a quiet strength that those who loved her came to know well, and likely came to appreciate even more with time.
Peggy leaves behind her son, Jodie Rudduck, and five grandchildren, Bryan, Brittany, Brandi, Brianna, and Brandon, along with 13 great-grandchildren who will carry pieces of her spirit forward. She is also survived by her sister, Clyta Jo Speaks, as well as Clyta Jo's son Dallas, daughter Amber, and grandson Chase.
She was a woman rooted in her identity and her family, and that rootedness was a gift to everyone around her, even when it came wrapped in stubbornness. The Sizemore name meant something to Peggy, and she wore it with pride her whole life.
She will be remembered by those who loved her, who knew that beneath the strong will was a woman worth knowing, worth celebrating, and worth missing deeply.
