Quentin Deshon Armstrong was born on September 30, 1985, in Columbia, Tennessee to Ardiss Armstrong and Nora Alexander. Quentin was blessed with a bonus mother, Deborah Armstrong, who nurtured him with love and care. During Quentin's 38 years on this side of heaven, he loved, supported and inspired others to strive for greatness and in servitude to God. Quentin was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend! His unwavering faith and musical influence as a true praise and worshiper made him a man after God's own heart! As a young child, Quentin was baptized at his family church, Greater First Baptist Church in Lewisburg, TN. As he matured in his walk with Christ, Quentin joined a holiness church and was baptized in Jesus name - received the Holy Ghost on February 22, 1997. Quentin could be found singing at funerals, playing the organ/piano for numerous churches, and serving as a Worship Leader. Quentin exemplified, profound reverence adoration and unwavering devotion to his faith embodying the essence of a devout servant of God. He found solace and joy in song and dance, using them as expressions of his deep-seated happiness and love of God. His life was a testament, a resounding proclamation of God’s boundless goodness and grace. One of Quentin many talents was cooking,. He loved to prepare meals, plate everyone's food, and wait for reactions! He was known for his comedy and there was never a dull moment when you were in his presence. Quentin would also assist whenever needed, not only to friends and family, but strangers as well. He understood the importance of planting seeds in the lives of others. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James Alexander and Annie Lou Alexander; paternal grandparents, Willie Evans and Gladys Christine Armstrong; sister, Preonda Simpson. He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Nora Alexander; father, Ardiss (Deborah) Armstrong; siblings, Janay Armstrong and Eric Harris; god-brothers, Kendell Tilmon and Eric Greene; forever love, Tiffani N. Waire; devoted aunts, Virginia C. Scott and Temika Turrentine; uncles Douglas (Raymonda) Alexander, Sylvester (Ruby Wells) Alexander, Ricky Armstrong, and Willie Earl Armstrong; nieces, Ny’Kiley Armstrong and Shelby Harris; nephews, Jason D. Pillow Jr., Tahj R. Wells Jr., and William Harris. A host of cousins and friends.
