Raelynn Schuettler

2023 – 2024
Lived in Osmond, NE

Let the memory of Raelynn be with us forever.

Raelynn was born on October 11, 2023 at 8:40 p.m., in Norfolk, NE to Wyatt and Lacey (Thies) Schuettler. She had a darker complexion and very dark hair and a lot of it. Raelynn was baptized on January 24, 2024 at St. Jane Francis Catholic Church in Randolph. Raelynn was the happiest baby. Rae always had a smile to give. She smiled very early in life starting at only a month old. The only time Rae cried was when she was hungry or if nobody was in sight. She absolutely hated being alone or thinking she was alone. Rae loved watching her siblings and she seemed a little jealous she couldn’t play with them the way she wanted because she would move towards them with a side roll or scoot in her little circle on the floor so she could see what they were up to.

Rae’s expressions were in her eyes and eyebrows. She was smiling and happy, crabby, or full of shock and those eyes gave all of her emotions away. Her eyes were unique as they were blue on the outside but a hazel color on the inside. Raelynn was ticklish, especially around her collarbones and she would give all the giggles. Rae loved to hold hands. Even in her sleep she would have a strong grip on your hand or finger. She loved contact and being held; in her parent’s arms was her favorite place. Rae had something to say if she was put down and didn’t want to be.

Rae was able to celebrate her first Halloween as a corn cob for her first sibling group outfit. She celebrated her first Thanksgiving with family. She also got to meet Santa for the first time and she didn’t think he was such a bad guy. She attended her first magical Christmas Eve mass and opened her first presents. Rae was a perfectly healthy little girl that gave so much joy and light into this world. She was infectious with her smile and giggles and it was hard to be anything but happy when she was around.

Raelynn went to be with Jesus. She continues to send signs that she is still with her family and that she will be fine. Rae’s family has trust that their loved ones that have gone before will hold her and make her smile and laugh until they meet again. Raelynn was so loved by her parents, siblings, and the rest of her family. Her absence has left an unimaginable hole inside of her loved one’s hearts that will forever be carried with us.
