Let the memory of Rodney be with us forever.
Rodney J. Mulder, born in 1963, passed from this life in 2026 at the age of 63. He was a man who found deep meaning in honest work, the quiet of the woods, and the company of those he loved.
Rodney spent his working years in construction, a trade that suited his hands-on nature and his dedication to building something real. When he wasn't on the job, he could often be found pursuing one of his greatest joys, deer hunting. Those who knew him understood that time outdoors was not just a hobby for Rodney but a way of life, a chance to slow down and connect with the natural world he cherished. Above all else, family and friends were at the center of who he was.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Suzann Mulder, who was his partner and companion through life. He is also survived by his brothers Rick Mulder (Kathleen) and Randy Mulder (Cathleen), along with five nieces and three nephews who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marge Mulder, his brother Robert Mulder, and his grandparents on both sides.
Rodney leaves behind people who loved him well and will miss him greatly. The spaces he filled, at a worksite, in a deer stand, or around a table with the people he cared for, will not easily be filled again.

We were so sorry to hear of Rodney’s passing. A valuable employee that can’t be replaced. His stories and sense of humor made the work days so much more enjoyable. The guys at Harmsen Construction will miss him. R.I.P. Dedicated 10 trees in Rodney's memory. 🌳
