Sonny and Helen Deluz Figuera

Helen DeLuz Figuera, 96, of Paauilo, Passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Villas at St. Francis, Honolulu. Helen spent most of her years as a homemaker. She was known for baking sweetbread and her chocolate pie and sharing with her family, friends and those in her community. Preceded in death by parents, Antone DeLuz, Sr. and Sarah Camara , Preceded in death by her husband, Rufino “Sonny” Figuera, Preceded in death by son, Manuel Alton Souza, Dias of Papaaloa She is survived by son, Jeffery (Diana) Souza Dias of Paauilo; daughters, Susan (Roger, Sr.) Wood of Kalopa, Gail Dias of Papaaloa, Sheila Souza Dias of Paauilo and Karen Heidenfeldt of Paauilo; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous hanai sons, daughters, nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
