There are no words big enough to capture what my dad means to me. At 97, he carried the wisdom of nearly a century, but in spirit, he’s ageless—sharp, compassionate, and full of a quiet strength that has always made me feel safe, loved, and understood. He’s the man who taught me what unconditional love looks like. Who showed up, every time, with a smile, a warm heart, and arms wide open. His love was never loud, but it filled the room. My heart feels heavy in a way that only deep love can make it feel. The thought of a world without his physical presence is unbearable. Yet, I remind myself: Heaven is gained someone truly special. I imagine a crowd of loved ones waiting with open arms, joyful to welcome him home. Still, the void he will leave here on Earth will be immense—not just for me, his daughter, his #1 fan—but for everyone lucky enough to have known his kindness. His smile lit up our lives. His compassion reached everyone he met. He lived with a heart wide open, and that kind of love never dies. It echoes on. I know this isn’t goodbye forever. One day, I’ll see him again—whole, restored, radiant in the presence of God. And until then, I’ll carry him with me. In my laugh, in my tears, in every act of love I give to others, I’ll honor his legacy. Please pray for all of us who loved him deeply. I pray that as he entered Heaven’s gates, he felt only love—no fear, no pain—just the warmth of every soul he's ever touched and the arms of Jesus welcoming him home. Dad, you will always in be my hero. Always.
Let the memory of Glen be with us forever.
