Helen Thomson

Helen (or Nana as many called her) was born April 9, 1929, in Crowley, Louisiana, to Hervie and Norris Faulk. In 1940, the Faulk family moved to Texas. She grew up in Brookshire, Texas, graduating from Katy High School. On June 14, 1947, Helen was united in marriage to John “Buck” Thomson, Jr. in Brookshire, Texas. Helen worked hard as a non-foods manager at Brookshire Brothers for over 40 years. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Brookshire. Helen was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She treasured every moment she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
