Breakfast with pops and him enjoying his senior discount benefits at Dennys was one of my favorite breakfasts
Let the memory of Hung be with us forever.
On February 4th, 2026, the world got a little less bright. Hung Quang Mines, 53, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of generosity and laughter. Born in Vietnam to Lonnie Mines and Thi Tuyet Hoa Nguyen, Hung’s journey took him from the vibrant streets of his birthplace to the heart of Missouri, eventually finding his stride in the neon glow of Las Vegas. Hung didn't just walk into a room; he brightened it. He was a man defined by his "fun-first" philosophy and a heart that was always ready to give. He is survived and remembered by his children, Sage, Mercedes, and Dustin; his grandchildren, Amelia and Benjamin; his siblings, Vinh and Ly; and his close friends. We aren't saying goodbye; we’re celebrating a life lived in full. Join us on April 4th at the Family Residence in San Diego. In honor of a man who never met a dull moment, we ask that you wear something bright, bold and fun to match the vibrance Hung brought to all of us.
