What do you say when you release balloons to the sky in hopes your Kaiden can hear you? I love you, miss you? … goodbye? See you later? I’ll see you in a minute …. 💛

I’ll see you in the sunsets and in the mountains, in a monsoon storm. I’ll be reminded of you in those beautiful lightening storms we get … I’ll think of you when I see a snake, a lizard - a bird, dogs, bears - wildlife. Cloud shapes in the sky, I’ll think of our cloud games. The chiricahuas will bring you to me, the Gaslight theatre. I’ll see you on dirt roads and in Chevy trucks, cowboy hats, boots and a cool belt buckle. When we drive by any oil rigs even if it’s not the Derrick, my mind will remember you and the stories you weaved. I’ll think of you when I see silly socks and tattoos, specifically tats on faces. Gold grills will bring my mind back to you and I’ll smile💛🙃. Bacon, raw-ish bacon will image to me you eating it. 🤢 Boistrous laughter will make me wish it were yours. When I make curry or gumbo or fried rice, I will want to share it with you. When I hear the word goo’boi I’ll hear your voice. People making funnyfaces will remind me of you. The word repentance will bring you to my mind and I’ll feel comforted. Eye twinkles and mischievousness chuckles - I will think of you. When I’m looking for something and I can’t find it - I’ll know what you did. 💛🤣💔 I’ll hear your laughter in Bobby’s dad jokes. The words banger … drip, finna … bonkers, indubitably… I’ll hear your voice every time (except when Javyn says indubitably - I’ll hear him when he uses that word) — Music, so many songs make me think of you. How can you be so many songs?? When I hear some went to karaoke, I’ll imagine you singing into a microphone. Car crashes will bring aches to my heart and roadside memorials will bring tears to my eyes, a lump in my throat and probably a gasp. When I’m doing something more bold than I am, I’ll know I am living more like you….

So many little things and big things and every things make me think of you. I could just sit here and type and type all the days, several days with how my mind always think of you and how I will love you for always …. I miss you Kaiden.
