Kari Spivack

1977 – 2023

Let the memory of Kari be with us forever.

Kari Anne Spivack — July 22, 1977 – June 17, 2023 Kari Anne Spivack left this world the way she lived in it — surrounded by love, laughter, and just the right amount of drama. She passed away peacefully on June 17, 2023, with her favorite people nearby and probably dreaming of her next Diet Coke. Born in Grand Forks, ND to Mark and Susan Spivack, Kari burst onto the scene on July 22, 1977, ready to charm everyone in sight. She grew up in Grand Forks, graduated from Red River High School in 1998, and went on to spend 24 fabulous years at Growth and Support, where she made lifelong friends and memories that could fill a Netflix series. Kari didn’t just live — she thrived. She knew what she liked and made no apologies for it: fresh nails, rewatching Annie like it was going out of style, bottomless Diet Cokes, generous scoops of ice cream, and time with her crew — family and friends who adored her sparkling sass and stubborn spirit. She leaves behind a family that adored her: her parents, Mark and Susan; siblings Ken and Kim; her awesome nephews Aaron and Alex; and her beloved Grandpa Myron — plus an army of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will never forget her flair. Kari was a force. A joy. A diva in the best sense of the word. She wasn’t just part of the family — she was the gift.
