Let the memory of Katrina be with us forever.
Katrina went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday December 13th, 2025. Katrina was born in Minot, ND to her parents Walter and Sharon (Schoenwald) Strilcov. She was raised on a farm near Max, ND where she attended school until her junior year when she felt called to attend Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, MN where she graduated in 1992. After graduation Katrina attended NDSCS in Wahpeton ND to work towards becoming a nurse. Katrina always had a great passion for being a nurse, that was what she always dreamed of becoming. She graduated from NDSCS with her LPN. She then moved to Jamestown ND to work at the State Hospital. This is where she met her future husband Tom. They got married on May 23, 1998. Katrina worked in many different areas as a nurse, with her final place of work being Eventide senior living as an Infection Prevention/Staff trainer which she greatly enjoyed. She loved everything about it there, especially the other nurse managers. They felt like a second family to her and she always talked about how this was the place she wanted to work at until retirement. Katrina had a deep faith, and always knew who her Lord and Savior was. She attended Victory Lutheran church, and raised her children in that church as well. She always had a love for singing and sang on the praise and worship team, where she could praise the lord through song. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Fred and Kathryn Strilcov, Martin and Verna Schoenwald, Her Father, Walter Strilcov, Her Mother, Sharon (Schoenwald) Strilcov, and Her Brother, Scott Strilcov. She is survived by Her Husband, Tom Hetletvedt (Jamestown), Her children, Kathryn (Bismarck), Thomas (Jamestown), and Leah (Jamestown).
