my Mema meant the absolute world to me. I could listen to her talk for hours - listening to her stories were my favorite kind of past time. she had the best smile, sense of humor, beauty and words … and she created another version of herself, who ended up bringing me into the world - my mama. their relationship reminds me of my mama and I’s relationship, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be this lucky. I still ache knowing my Mema isn’t here, but my mama makes up for the lost words and beauty! both so different but so alike, like two sides of the same coin. I’m the luckest girl in the world. love, olivia
