Raúl Vega Rivas, born on October 7, 1943, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to Felipe Vega and Victoria Rivas, passed on leaving behind a legacy of faith, music, and family.
He is survived by his loving siblings: sister Alicia Vega, brother Luis Vega, and sister Zoraida Vega. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will continue to honor his memory.
Raúl was married to Norma Sambolín de Vega, and together they built a beautiful family. He is survived by: Victoria, Raúl Jr., Omar, Normita, Krystal, and Kassandra.
A self-taught musician, Raúl was blessed with a beautiful voice that he used to praise the Lord. His passion for music and ministry led him to dedicate many years as the musical director of his church. Throughout his life, he was part of several musical groups, including Vida Eterna and El Trío, sharing his gift and touching many hearts.
His life was a testament to faith, devotion, and love, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
