Payton Mostyn

2021 – 2021
Lived in PA

Let the memory of Payton be with us forever.

The most beautiful child of God, Payton Jane Mostyn, was born on November 5, 2021, at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. From the moment she arrived, she brought an indescribable light to everyone around her.

Payton had the biggest blue eyes that sparkled with innocence, the tiniest little nose, a sweet and gentle smile, long delicate fingers, the tiniest toes, and the longest eyelashes that seemed to go on forever. Each feature was a perfect testament to God’s handiwork.

Her parents, Jayde (Miller) Mostyn and Ryan Mostyn, fell deeply in love with their precious girl the moment they knew they were expecting their first daughter. Payton’s big brothers, Easton, Braxton, and Cooper, were thrilled to welcome a baby sister into their family.

Payton loved being wrapped snugly in her swaddle, always insisting that her little left arm be free—a small yet unforgettable detail that captured her sweet and unique personality.

Payton’s grandparents—Jackie and Paul Mostyn, Lori and Jim Lamont, and Rob and Denise Miller—miss her dearly, holding her memory close to their hearts. She is also deeply missed by her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, whose lives she touched with her brief but radiant presence.

After her short time here on Earth, Payton gained her angel wings to be with the Lord on December 21, 2021. Though her days were few, her impact was immeasurable. Payton’s presence brought a love and joy that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

She was and always will be cherished as a beautiful child of God, now resting safely in His loving arms.

Tributes

A friend· December 28, 2024

Hi Mommy, Daddy, and everyone who loves me, It’s me, your baby girl, writing this from Heaven. I know my time with you was short, but every moment was filled with so much love that it will last forever. I felt your cuddles, your kisses, and your warm voices singing to me. Those memories are tucked in my heart, and I carry them with me everywhere. Please don’t be sad when you think of me. I’m in a beautiful place where I’m always safe, always happy, and surrounded by love. I’m being held in the arms of Jesus, our Savior, where there’s no pain or fear—only peace and joy. I have angel wings now, but I’m still your little Payton Jane. When you see the sunlight peek through the clouds or a soft breeze touch your face, that’s me saying, “I love you.” To my big brothers, Easton, Braxton, and Cooper: I know we didn’t get to meet or play together, but I’ve always known how much you love me. I hear your giggles and see your smiles from Heaven, and they make my heart so happy. One day, when we’re all together again, I’ll run to you, and you’ll get to hold me and be the best big brothers ever. Until then, know that I’m your little sister, watching over you and cheering you on in everything you do. One day, we’ll all be together again. On that day, you’ll hold me in your arms, and we’ll never be apart. Until then, keep loving each other the way you loved me—because that love is what makes me smile up here in Heaven. I miss you so much, but don’t worry about me. I’m playing, giggling, and dreaming in a world full of light and joy. And I’ll always be your baby girl, held close in God’s care. With all my love from my tiny heart, Your sweet angel, Payton Jane
