Funny stories -Blackie was my moms dog , as her dementia set in Blackie became a super hero Blackie went and saved the town’s water on a constant basis, every night Blackie would go out and dig and fix all the water wells in town , so that everyone would have water in their homes by morning. He saved babies carrying them through the snow and the prairie, he was a soldier, super man, well digger , truck driver, mountain climber, rescue dog and so much more. Every-time anything broke she insisted that Blackie would fix it, and when he was busy sleeping in the day if anyone said he was lazy she would get defensive and said if you could only do half as he did you would be ok but no one was as good as Blackie, her protection and comfort zone along with a million stories to go with him.
