Keeping old recordings is different from creating new ones.
Remento says you retain access to existing memories when the subscription ends. You can still play recordings, download them, and order additional books. Renewal is for continuing creation and editing, not a fee to hear the voice you already recorded.

How much help will the storyteller need each week?
A relative who already records messages on a phone may be comfortable opening a prompt and speaking into a device. Someone who avoids apps and links may find a scheduled incoming call easier. Choose around the habit they already have.
Memorygram’s phone option lets the storyteller answer a call on an ordinary US phone, including a landline. A family member can help arrange the schedule. If several relatives will assist, decide who will check the text, choose photographs, and approve the final book.
